Millefleurs Rabbit Terracotta Tile
This little bunny looks so happy in its field of hundreds of flowers on a terracotta tile.
The rabbit in this terracotta tile is based on the one woven into The Lady and the Unicorn tapestry, on display in the Cluny Museum in Paris. The backgrounds of late 15th and early 16th century French & Flemish tapestries were often filled with millefleurs, hundreds of little flowers.
Dimensions: 10.5cm x 10.5cm
Two holes are located in the top two corners of the tile for fixing. These tiles are suitable for hanging indoors or outdoors. They are not floor tiles. The tiles are frost resistant, but it is not recommended to hang outside where they will face a deluge of water.
