Accessibility

As someone with a disability and chronic illness (Ehlers Danlos and Chronic Fatigue) being an accessible business is very important to me. Annoyingly the Chronic Fatigue means implementing the ideas takes a little longer than I would like.

Our shop on 73 High Street, Aylesbury HP21 1SA is in a very old building and we are up a flight of stairs. We are working on making the door way more accessible with a ramp. We can then bring the laptop down and items to a room out the back for customers that are unable to use the stairs.

We are near a few car parks. There is Hampden House which is about 200yrds away. Hale Street is about 120 yrs and there is road side parking between these two. There is also the Upper Hundreds Car Park which has Shopmobility which is 0.1miles away from our shop.

(Please note, these are council car parks with charges. Rabbit Retail is not responsible for fees, charges or car safety).

In store we have an app which can transcribe speech to deaf and hard of hearing customers. This app also translates into 60 languages so no worries if you can't speak English!

We are working on adding Alt Text to all images so customers with sight impairments can have the image described to them.

If you can think of any anything we can do improve your experience online or in store, please contact us, via info@rabbitretail.co.uk with the heading Accessibility Issues
